HJB Power Washing was founded in April 2004 by Howard Smith after retiring from Anne Arundel County Government. Initially focusing on local power washing services through connections with the Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and associations, HJB Power Washing gradually expanded its services to include restoration, contracting, and subcontracting. Over the years, the company has built a strong presence in Anne Arundel, Howard, and Baltimore counties, sharing work with reputable partners and continuously expanding its client base.

Restoration of old windows at a senior high-rise building on Hilton Street in Baltimore, a five-story project subcontracted with Tiffany Builders.

Power washing sidewalks at Mount Calvary United Methodist Church and Silas First Baptist Church, including roof cleaning.

Long-term contracts such as maintaining sidewalks near Memorial Stadium (the old Baltimore Oriole stadium before Camden Yards), a four-year state-funded project.

Fleet cleaning for MDOT, including interior and exterior cleaning of MTA Mobility buses, a project we have been involved with for over 4 years.

Extensive work with United Rentals, cleaning trash and pickup trucks, a 15 year contract and Fleetpro, handling commercial trucks.
